This position is responsible for managing business development aspects for commercial business operations within sales and marketing.Position responsibilities will include:
Allocate and manage aircraft through the completion and delivery process
Outcome:
On time deliveries, full allocation report, deliveries to meet financial targets.
Customer Configuration Process - manage activities with sales, contracts, and completion centers and ensure timely gathering of customer configuration enabling the efficient manufacturing & completion of commercial aircraft.
Track and follow up on open PA amendmentsOutcome:
aircraft configuration requirements (kits, interior, exterior) received timely to support IO requirements (metric = configuration shortage report).
Develop and maintain a systematic process of notifying commercial business team of aircraft delivery readiness. Identify any potential production delays, production changes, certification gaps, or other items potentially impacting delivery to contract
Outcome:
Dependable coordination / communication of aircraft ready dates, any potential delays, etc.
Drive weekly deliveries - Positively influence sales & contracts organization for the prompt acceptance and delivery of aircraft following completion; provide weekly updates on latest completion date and aircraft available for delivery
Outcome:
aircraft delivered shortly following completion, lower finished goods inventory for BHT.
Customer Delivery Experience - Manage the delivery process and ensure customer's experience a positive delivery experience, consistent at all locations.
Benchmark for best practices; implement standard operating procedures and metrics to be used at all completion facilitiesOutcome:
customers with a consistently positive delivery experience.
Support to new commercial business development.
Maintaining applicable confidentiality, aids in the support of expansion of the Sales and Marketing organization, including business case studies, etc.
involved in establishing international sales officesOutcome:
timely and accurate business case studies prepared in support of the organization's needs.
