Job Description

Danfoss is looking for a Cost Down Project Manager to lead and run cost down processes. With our Cost Down Engine, you will challenge current status' and improve it using facts and tangible benchmarks. You will be in the frontline and responsible for creating and maturing our pipeline of technical cost reductions. As a Cost Down Project Manager, you engage and work together with Product Portfolio, R&D, Production and Procurement. You will identify, plan, execute and communicate projects that have a significant impact on our ability to compete in a global market.

Job Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will be, but are not limited to:

  • Prepare and facilitate cost down projects on products and categories.
  • Ensure engagement of our competent stakeholders.
  • Maintain a constant pipeline of minimum 3% cost down activities.
  • Facilitate and lead processes and workshops.
  • Use, update, and train stakeholders in Danfoss' best practice tools and processes for cost down.

To be considered for this position, you have about 3-5 years of experience working with project management, change management or product and process optimizations.

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a commercial or technical oriented field is required.

  • You are comfortable with taking the lead as a Project Manager, but also delegating when needed.
  • It is also important that you have the flexibility and willingness to travel, mainly in Europe, where our production sites are located.
