PRE-SALES SUPPORT

Develop a brand new value propositioning collateral, generating content and crafting new sales tools such as disruptive applications aiding demand generation and winning at the country and regional level
Nurture, maintain, and develop Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) at territory level
Actively participate in generating ideas for value positioning
Focus on continuous learning and developing a scientific network to guarantee best-in-class knowledge and brand recognition within the market
Provide content for marketing collateral
Knowledge of calibration development procedure for NIR/FTIR portfolio in agro-based food/feed instrumentation portfolio for benchtop and inline/process solution
Ability to develop calibration from scratch
Ability to develop application notes proactively based on market need
Knowledge of chemometrics/software Python/unscrambler/opus/winISI/NIRCal or similar is preferable
Willing to travel (as much as 50 PERCENT of time) throughout India and neighboring countries as per the job requirement
Coordinate and work with global teams

DEMO MANAGEMENT
Plan and manage effective and timely high-quality demonstrations in agreement with the Business Development Manager business plans
Manage the full demo cycle in line with sales priorities, driving key data gathering (global view) and calibration development for a breakthrough demonstration experience
Provide top-class technical expertise to the local sales teams, including instrument demonstrations and sample running
Manage demonstration reporting enabling the Account Manager to progress sales in PerkinElmers favor
Own the demonstration inventory for defined product lines, responsible for ensuring optimized instrument condition and demonstration environment to provide the best quality customer experience

Lab Management:
Manage existing instruments in the rheology/spectrometry lab and demo inventory; adhere to laboratory rules and ensure work execution aligns with safety, environmental procedures, and legal requirements; maintain highest safety standards for self and coworkers during work

SALES EXCELLENCE
Preference for experience with Dairy, Food, Feed, Grain, Milling, Oil seed crushing, and other Agri-commodity trading industries
Work with sales team to improve sales execution and maximize prospect conversion rates; qualify customer needs, present & demonstrate Perten solutions, effectively position benefits and price, and boost win rate within the available market to grow share position; handle customer objections
Support Account Managers in the develop and prove phase (SPI); support tenders by defining configurations and application solutions that align with customers requests; act as a technical consultant to the customer quoting process ensuring suggested configurations meet customer needs and all commitments fall within performance specifications of the instrument
Assist instrument installation testing and any needed activity linked to specific application tests; enhance knowledge sharing through sales customer data profile update
