JOB DUTIES:
Weld products and understand weld consumables and weld parameters in order to achieve required weld quality.

Use measuring devices including tape measures, calipers, protractor, etc.

Troubleshoot welding related issues on the line as required.

Maintain existing tooling and fixtures using basic hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, Allen wrenches, pliers, etc.) for simple repairs.

Where more extensive repairs are required, identifies issue, and submits work order to appropriate department for resolution.

Uses gages to identify part conformance.

Ability to verify weld fixture integrity by inspecting all features essential to producing a quality part.

Recovers robotic welding systems from production stoppages to ensure daily production requirements are met.

Performs welding related periodic maintenance on robotic welding systems.
