Job Description: Assistant Finance Manager (CA Qualified)

Job Summary:

HikeOn Technologies Pvt Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Analyst who is a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualified professional.

As a Asst. Finance Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting financial decision-making processes and providing valuable insights to drive the company's growth and profitability.

You will work closely with the finance and accounting teams to analyze financial data, prepare financial reports, conduct forecasting and budgeting activities, and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.

Responsibilities:

Experience in financial planning, budgeting, and variance analysis.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong understanding of ecommerce business models and metrics.

Bookkeeping and Tax Filings:

Maintaining accurate books of account for the group as a whole.

Completing VAT/Sales tax return on time and automating the process

Implementing inventory capitalization, maintaining asset register etc.

Performing ledger scrutiny and MIS reporting.

Month End Close and Supporting in reconciliations:

Support the team and complete the month end close - using Floqast tool.

Supporting the team in reconciling BS and P&L captions.

Financial Planning and Analysis:

Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support business planning and decision-making.

Conduct thorough financial analysis, identify trends, and provide insights to optimize revenue, profitability, and cash flow.

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports to the executive team.

Financial Reporting and Compliance:

Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and reporting requirements.

Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors for audits, tax filings, and other compliance matters.

Cash Flow Management:

Develop cash flow projections and optimize working capital to support business operations and growth.

Implement effective cash management strategies, including monitoring receivables and payables, inventory levels, and payment terms with suppliers.

Risk Management and Internal Controls:

Assess financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.

Establish and monitor internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Qualifications:

Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 3-5 years of post qualification experience and strong academic background.

Proven experience as a Financial Analyst and managing team of similar roles.

Sound knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.

Familiarity with financial modeling and valuation methodologies.

Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis tools (e.g Excel, financial management software).

Proficiency in US GAAP, IFRS and Other Accounting standards.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and interact with stakeholders at various levels.

Knowledge of relevant accounting standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.

Prior experience in the technology industry will be an advantage.
