Job Description

Associate Field Manager - Ruminants

This role is accountable for achieving Sales Targets in the assigned region, fostering enduring relationships with Customers and Key Opinion Leaders, offering feedback to Head Office on business matters, nurturing the Talent and Skills of direct reports, and enforcing Company Policies and Procedures. Our Territory Representatives engage directly with customers, comprehend their needs, and provide tailored solutions. The collaborative work in Field Sales Teams is pivotal in supporting our customer-centric business approach. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsibilities:
  • Achieve set budget & KPIs for the COP area
  • Develop the Ruminant sales team members under supervision, leveraging My pmp as the primary development tool
  • Ensure successful implementation of PharmaSell / Action Selling process
  • Cultivate and enhance close rapport with Distributors and key customers
  • Collaborate with Health Platform Managers for Marketing support and work with Zonal Manager to access Technical Services, Credit Control, and logistics for efficient sales-marketing synergy
  • Business Managers play a critical role in meeting sales targets
  • Maintain positive relationships and expand business with demanding customers
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, guidance, and motivation to the sales team members under supervision
  • Efficiently execute promotional strategies through the team members
  • Attain targeted sales ratios
  • If a Veterinarian, offer valuable Technical Support to customers

Qualifications & Skills

  • Degree in Veterinary Sciences / Science
  • Minimum one year of relevant experience in the ethical veterinary market
  • Additional education in Business Administration is preferred but not mandatory
  • Demonstrated track record of commercial success
  • Solid technical knowledge of Animal Health Medicine
  • Adept at functioning within a matrix organization
