What we're seeking

We are in need of a Data Technical Specialist who will be responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining various data into Marine Asset databases and systems. This role demands a great attention to detail, speed, and accuracy, along with the capability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.

The responsibilities:

  • Accurately input details of machinery components, hull structures, and other vessel information into Asset Data Tool (ADT)
  • Extract, clean, and transform large and complex datasets from various sources.
  • Review data for errors or deficiencies and correct any incompatibilities.
  • Continuously monitor and assess data quality for accuracy and reliability.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills to convey complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Stay updated with the latest data analysis tools, techniques, and best practices.
  • Maintain the confidentiality and security of sensitive data.
  • Work in line with professional codes of conduct and the LR Code of Ethics in IMS01.

Your qualifications

  • A degree or equivalent from a recognized tertiary organization by Lloyd's in a relevant field.
  • Minimum one year of experience working with machinery.
  • Demonstrated experience in data analysis, preferably in a business or corporate setting.
  • Proficient in using data entry tools and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to work with large datasets and complex data structures.
  • Detail-oriented mindset dedicated to producing accurate and reliable analysis.
