Head of Design and Styling - Bridge to Luxury Lifestyle Brand - Stealth Mode

Who Are We :

We are a bunch of Fashion and Lifestyle Enthusiasts who want to create a Bridge to Luxury Lifestyle Brand Made in India, Made for India. As Indians climb up the affluence ladder, there is a wide need gap of Luxury Fashion that is Made for Indians without really burning a hole in their pockets. As we build our product portfolio, we are looking to hire Head of Design & Styling in our founding team who will work closely with the Founder to define and develop the entire selection and styling language for the brand.

Job Description:

You would be defining the fashion and styling sense of the upper and upper middle- class India. You would be the design and style head for the brand and own the entire design language of the products. Your team would also be responsible for helping customer choose the best styles suiting them leading to a well-dressed, experimental, and confident India.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Understand the global fashion trends and adapt them for Indian sensibilities.

- Own the entire design and style philosophy for the brand.

- Work with the sourcing team to procure products.

- Would own the entire season launches.

- Build a team of stylists that act as personal style advisors to all the customers providing online/offline consultation.

- Create visually compelling and cohesive appearances for the shoots, styling content etc

- Provide insights into emerging styles and trends, materials, silhouettes, and customer preferences.

- Work extensively with customers to understand their preferences and identify need gaps.

Profile:

- Must have ~10-15 years of experience in styling, fashion management and design.

- Experience with top luxury brands, design houses or designers is mandatory.

- Should be from NIFT Fashion Design background.
