About the internship:

Key responsibilities:

1. Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analysis, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting principles.

2. Support the finance team in managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling invoices, and maintaining financial records.

3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities.

4. Research industry trends and competitors to identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.

5. Perform data entry and analysis using Advanced Excel, creating comprehensive reports and visualizations for decision-making purposes.

6. Enhance the effectiveness of the accounting system by suggesting updates, implementing process improvements, and ensuring data integrity.

7. Participate in ad-hoc projects, such as financial audits and inventory management, to gain exposure to different facets of finance and accounting.

8.Review and verify purchase orders received from vendors for accuracy and completeness.

Invoice Generation

-Generate and process invoices based on the verified and approved purchase orders.

-Work closely with the procurement team to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to POs and invoices.

9 Documentation and Record Keeping.

10 Monthly Reconciliation of purchase order Received and invoice raised.

11. Monthly reconciliation of remittances received from vendors with their corresponding invoices.

-Ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies on time.

-Compile and maintain comprehensive records of direct sales from third-party sources

-Organize and document all relevant information to support financial transparency
