A Device Associate's primary responsibility is to execute test case instructions and report discrepancies.

Role & Responsibility

  1. Follow SOP/ predefined test cases and execute test cases prepared for testing Software builds on the mobile platform
  2. Raise defects for all failures observed and track doubts related to the execution of test instructions through pre-defined mechanisms
  3. Provide individual status reports
  4. Responsible for security and maintenance of the company assets, accessories and devices allocated to perform your daily operations
  5. Use standard tools for data capture
  6. Abide by the regulatory processes defined for ensuring process compliance, confidentiality, and security
  7. Contribute to process improvement ideas

Key job responsibilities

A Device Associate's primary responsibility is to execute test case instructions and report discrepancies. A DA is also responsible for successful and on time delivery of results.

Role & Responsibility


• Execute test cases prepared for testing Software builds on the Fire OS platform and Fire OS products.


• Perform test case execution and report bugs accurately


• Understand testing procedures and guidelines for new builds / releases.


• Perform regression and repetitive testing exercises to qualify builds without compromising on quality


• Use software tools for data capture on a daily basis


• Be comfortable with capturing results, communicating and escalating failures and providing individual status reports


• Raising all failures/doubts related to the execution of test cases in the clarification portal and closing the same as per the SLA's

About the team

• Perform test execution, report failures, be transparent, have good communication skills to interact with the stakeholders, Analyse and debug automation failures.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Knowledge of QA methodology and tools
