Online Tableau Course Trainer

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced online trainer to conduct a Tableau course for our participants. The trainer will be responsible for delivering comprehensive instruction on Tableau software, covering both basic and advanced topics.

The goal is to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to proficiently use Tableau for data visualization and analysis.


Responsibilities:
Develop a detailed course outline covering all relevant topics in Tableau, including but not limited to:

  • Introduction to Tableau and its interface
  • Data connection and preparation
  • Basic and advanced visualization techniques
  • Dashboard creation and design principles
  • Data analysis using Tableau features
  • Best practices for effective data visualization
  • Design engaging and interactive instructional materials, such as presentations, demonstrations, exercises, and assignments, to facilitate effective learning.
  • Conduct live online training sessions using video conferencing platforms, ensuring clarity, engagement, and interactivity throughout the sessions.
  • Provide timely feedback and support to participants, addressing their queries and concerns related to the course content and Tableau usage.
  • Assess participants' progress through quizzes, assignments, and practical exercises, and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in Tableau software and incorporate relevant updates into the course curriculum as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Tableau trainer or instructor, with a demonstrable track record of delivering successful Tableau training programs.
  • Proficiency in using Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server, with a deep understanding of its features, functionalities, and best practices.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Experience in designing and delivering online training programs, using video conferencing tools and virtual learning platforms.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and interact effectively with participants from diverse backgrounds and skill levels.
  • Certification in Tableau Desktop or Tableau Server is preferred, but not mandatory.
  • A passion for teaching and helping others learn and succeed in their Tableau journey.
  • Flexibility to accommodate different time zones and schedules, as some participants may be located in different regions.
