We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Application Development Manager II to join our Asset servicing team. This role is in Pune, MH – HYBRID.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Design and architecture for solutions built as part of the project with particular focus on developing a sustainable DevOps model
- Manage and oversee the contributions of developers across teams
- Accountable for the code produced by the team - code quality, test coverage and compliance to cyber security standards
- Set coding standards/ best practices within the team.
- Work closely with program manager/product owner on grooming stories, backlog prioritization and tracking and communicating progress
- Face off to and manage business and technology stakeholders across the organization, including product owners, other technology teams and technology/business management.
- Follow and promote Agile practices especially Scrum
- Ensure consistency with and synergy across the global platform by collaborating regularly with peers.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Advanced knowledge of Distributed Architectures, Event Driven Design and Microservices
- Experienced in Scrum and Agile Methodologies
- Experienced in Java, Spring, Relational Databases, MQ and Kafka
- Expertise in design and development patterns and anti-patterns
- Ability to drive the quality coding and hands on experience with tools such as Sonar, Check style, PMD, Find Bugs
- Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
- Knowledge of front-end technologies like Angular JS, webpack would be desirable
