Role Overview

As a Manager, Procurement Risk Analyst for the Procurement Strategy & Risk and Compliance Team, you will support development of analytical solutions to help achieve Procurement objectives and KPI’s.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for Procurement Strategy, Risk and Compliance data and analytics associated (Supplier Diversity, Supplier Relationship Management, TPRM, Compliance, Procurement Policies and Risk management)

• Work in collaboration with the Procurement Strategy, Risk and Compliance Team to define reporting and analytics requirements based on the insights they are trying to achieve, and then work with the appropriate teams to extract, perform data cleanse and build repeatable processes to maintain the data

• Accountable for timely reporting for Procurement performance indicators and programme KPIs - from extraction and data transformation/ enrichment to visualization in dashboards

• Develop analytical solutions, perform data analysis, generate insights, provide senior management reports and communicating the results of findings, together with data visual

• Provide actionable insights to procurement and the business using multiple data sources, which deliver significant business value.

• Ensure integrity and transparency of the data sources and manipulation steps across all systems, including legacy systems. Maintaining the quality of data in spreadsheet or through a programming language.
• Working with Procurement business partners (Tech, Finance, HR, etc), build and transfer knowledge/expertise on Haleon data and BI (systems, feeds, governance).

• Develop Procurement organization knowledge (scope, purpose, indicators, needs) used to ensure the requirements are in line with the true information needs from various teams.

• Keep up-to-date regarding advanced analytics, industry best practice and future technologies. Create best-practice reports based on data mining, analysis and visualization

• Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to procurement datasets. Build scripts that will make data evaluation process more flexible or scalable across datasets

• Direct involvement in managing day-to-day activities in the respective areas to release Team Leads (handling escalations, operational calls, transition issues, stakeholder relationship, system changes)

• Performing variety of task in Third Party Risk Management area.

• Maintain a high level of effectiveness in resolving problems related to Source-to-Contract process, innovative thinking in recommending appropriate mitigation plans and process streamlining.

Qualifications & Skills: 

• 4-7 years of total procurement experience.
• At-least 4 years in procurement (as a solution provider, consultant or practitioner) including spend analytics, contract management, sourcing, supplier management, risk and compliance
• Technical or numerical degree educated and/or relevant qualifications/experience - Understanding of data architecture, data quality processes, and data modelling.
• Experience of spend / data analysis with a strong technical, problem solving and analytical mindset.
• Strong background in using visualization tools – e.g. Power BI and excellent Excel skills (incl VBA) with high levels of numeracy and accuracy.
• Proven ability to produce professional, accurate and timely reports for senior stakeholders.
• Ability to work well under pressure and maintain close attention to data.
• Ability to take responsibility and act autonomously.
• Ability to plan, organize and priorities tasks and project.
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
• Experience with SAP procurement solutions preferable (SAP ECC, SAP Ariba etc.).
• Experience in statistical methods, machine learning and data science programming skills such as Python and R preferable
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills – fluent English
• FMCG and CH preferable.
