Job Overview:

The Social Media Marketing Platform Expert is responsible for developing and executing effective marketing strategies on various social media platforms. This role involves staying up-to-date on the latest trends, features, and algorithms of each platform, with a focus on maximizing brand visibility, engagement, and conversion.


Responsibilities:


1) Platform Expertise:


Stay informed about the latest updates, algorithms, and features of major social media platforms.

Develop an in-depth understanding of each platform's advertising options, analytics, and targeting capabilities.


2 ) Strategy Development:


Collaborate with the marketing team to develop comprehensive social media marketing strategies aligned with business goals.

Recommend platform-specific strategies based on audience behavior and industry trends.


3) Content Planning and Creation:


Plan and create engaging and shareable content tailored to each platform's audience and requirements.

Collaborate with content creators and designers to ensure brand consistency.


4) Advertising Campaigns:


Design and execute targeted advertising campaigns on relevant social media platforms.

Optimize ad performance through A/B testing, audience segmentation, and budget management.


5) Community Engagement:


Foster community engagement by responding to comments, messages, and mentions on social media platforms.

Develop strategies to encourage user-generated content and brand advocacy.


6) Analytics and Reporting:


Utilize analytics tools to track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for each social media platform.

Provide regular reports with insights and recommendations for optimization.


7) Competitor Analysis:


Monitor competitors' social media activities and industry trends to identify opportunities and threats.

Adjust strategies based on market changes and emerging platforms.


8) Emerging Platforms:


Stay ahead of industry trends and identify emerging social media platforms that align with business objectives.

Evaluate the potential impact and benefits of integrating new platforms into the marketing mix.


Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Proven experience in social media marketing with a focus on multiple platforms.

In-depth knowledge of social media algorithms, advertising options, and best practices.

Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using social media analytics tools.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.


Skills:


Platform-specific expertise (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok).

Content creation and strategy.

Advertising campaign management.

Data analysis and reporting.

Community management.

Knowledge of emerging social media trends and platforms.
