As part of Compass Group, one of the world’s largest food services companies, SmartQ builds cutting-edge digital platforms that power seamless, data-driven, and personalized dining experiences.We’re a fast-growing product team working at the intersection of technology, design, and operations — creating high-impact, scalable solutions that touch thousands of users every day.We are looking for a Lead Full Stack Engineer who can combine strong technical expertise, architectural vision, and leadership skills to drive next-generation digital solutions.What You’ll DoLead end-to-end design, development, and deployment of scalable full-stack applications and microservices.Ownership of features development and deliveryOwn critical architectural decisions ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance.Cloud architecture expert.Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Digital Full Stack Development, setting engineering standards and best practices.Mentor, guide, and coach developers; perform in-depth code reviews and drive technical excellence.Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical roadmaps.Build rich, responsive, and performant frontend experiences with FlutterOptimize across the full stack — ensuring performance, scalability, and security.Ensure compliance with security standards and data protection (GDPR, SOC 2, HIPAA as applicable).What You Bring8–12 years of experience in software development with proven expertise in building scalable systems.Strong proficiency in Python and Flutter; experience with React is a plus.Hands-on experience designing and building RESTful APIs and Cloud based microservices architecturesSolid knowledge of relational (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/Redis/Google Datastore) databases.Proven experience on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).Deep understanding of DevOps practices, automated testing, and deployment pipelines.Expertise in responsive UI, performance optimization, and state management (Redux, MobX, Context API).Experience in building & shipping mobile native applications to end users.Demonstrated experience in building secure, scalable, and compliant systems at scale.Excellent leadership, communication, and mentoring abilities.Prior experience leading engineering teams and driving technical roadmaps.Nice to HaveExposure to serverless architectures.Exposure to any one of the Cloud hosted Backend-as-a-Service like real-time database / pub-sub / serverless functions / auth / storage platforms (eg.
