Summary
The Accounts Receivable Analyst plays a key role in managing and executing critical AR processes, including billing, payment application, reconciliation, auditing, and collections. This position requires precision, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, high-volume environment. The ideal candidate will gain a deep understanding of Pinnacle’s AR systems and processes and will have opportunities to contribute to the design, testing, and implementation of new AR solutions and process improvements.
Job Description
- Process daily and weekly invoices, expense reports, and corporate card reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Reconcile payments, research and resolve discrepancies, and ensure transactions are recorded in the correct period and GL accounts.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to support month-end close activities and related reporting.
- Monitor Accounts Payable operations and ensure service requests are handled within established SLAs and standards.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and relevant accounting standards.
- Maintain strong customer service standards, providing timely and professional support to consultants, recruiters, and account managers.
- Train, coach, and develop offshore team members to ensure adherence to quality and performance expectations.
- Manage and support AR-related technology platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics, ReQlogic, and Concur.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports and participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related analytical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or Accounting roles.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and U.S. GAAP.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, V-lookups, charts, and data analysis.
- Experience with financial systems such as Microsoft Dynamics or similar ERP tools.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced Excel, MS Access, or SQL skills are a plus.
