About the Role :

- We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated DevOps Engineer Lead to join our team and play a critical role in shaping and leading our DevOps strategy.

- You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our software delivery lifecycle, ensuring continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD) with a focus on automation, efficiency, and reliability.

Skills & Experience :

- 10+ years of experience in DevOps engineering or a related field.

- Proven leadership experience in managing and mentoring a DevOps team.

- In-depth expertise in containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes (including experience with ECS and EKS).

- Strong understanding of Linux administration and scripting (e.g., Bash scripting).

- Proficiency in CI/CD tools (e.g, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) for automating builds, tests, and deployments.

- Experience with scripting languages like Python for automating DevOps tasks.

- Solid understanding of load balancing concepts and tools (e.g., NGINX) for high availability and scalability.

- Experience with Git version control systems (e.g., GitLab, Bitbucket) for code management and collaboration.

- Expertise in cloud platforms, particularly AWS, for infrastructure provisioning and management.

- Strong understanding of database technologies like MSSQL for managing data within the application environment.

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve complex infrastructure and deployment issues.

- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams (development, operations, security).

- Leadership qualities to inspire and motivate the DevOps team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of our DevOps strategy and processes.

- Manage and mentor the DevOps team, providing guidance, training, and support for technical growth.

- Design and implement automated CI/CD pipelines for efficient and reliable software delivery.

- Implement and manage containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.

- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS.

- Configure and maintain load balancers for high availability and scalability.

- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software.

- Implement security best practices throughout the DevOps lifecycle.

- Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues to ensure system uptime and performance.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in DevOps and cloud computing.

- Continuously evaluate and optimize DevOps tools and processes to improve efficiency and agility.
