Summary

  • The Senior Review Manager at Epiq provides project management and consultation on managed document review projects for corporations, financial institutions, law firms, and other clients. This role requires a deep understanding of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) and strong proficiency in Relativity and other review technologies to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness.
  • The Senior Review Manager oversees multiple projects, leads review teams, manages client communication, and supports the department head in reporting, capacity planning, and process optimization. The role also involves mentoring team members and implementing strategies to improve performance and reduce operational costs.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage multiple document review projects and teams at Epiq’s Hyderabad review center.
  • Serve as the primary client contact throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct project design meetings and implement efficient workflows within review platforms.
  • Draft workflow protocols, training materials, and quality control guidelines.
  • Leverage advanced Relativity features, including TAR, clustering, email threading, and predictive coding, to drive efficiency.
  • Perform quality control using statistical sampling, advanced searches, and validation scripts.
  • Track project progress, productivity, and budget performance, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Prepare and maintain project dashboards and management reports.
  • Lead, mentor, and train review managers, team leads, and reviewers.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and act as a bridge between departments to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Support departmental leadership with staffing plans, capacity management, and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Serve as a backup for the department head as required.


Qualifications:

  • LLB (three- or five-year program) or LLM (optional), India or abroad.
  • Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in document review and eDiscovery, including 3+ years in project or people management.
  • Advanced proficiency in Relativity (RCA preferred) database administration, workspace setup, custom searches, and analytics.
  • Deep understanding of EDRM and document review processes, including processing, review, analysis, and production of ESI.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled features such as TAR, clustering, and predictive coding.
  • Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities in managing large review teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to lead client calls and meetings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, and reporting).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work in different shifts based on client or project requirements.
