Job Description :


We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Snowflake Developer with 2 to 5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data warehousing and hands-on experience with Snowflake cloud data platform. As a Snowflake Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data solutions using Snowflake, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.


Responsibilities :

- Data Modeling : Design and develop data models for Snowflake data warehouses, considering factors such as performance, scalability, and data integrity.

- Utilize best practices in dimensional modeling for building efficient and optimized data schemas.

- ETL Development : Develop ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ingest data from various source systems into Snowflake data warehouses.

- Utilize Snowflake's built-in features and functions for data transformation and loading.

- SQL Development : Write complex SQL queries and stored procedures to perform data manipulations, transformations, and aggregations within Snowflake.

- Optimize SQL queries for performance and efficiency.

- Performance Tuning : Monitor and optimize Snowflake data warehouses for performance, concurrency, and resource utilization.

- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks through query optimization, indexing, and resource management.

- Data Integration : Integrate Snowflake with other data platforms and tools such as ETL tools, BI tools, and data visualization platforms.

- Implement data pipelines and workflows for seamless data movement and processing.

- Security and Access Control : Implement security policies, roles, and access controls within Snowflake to ensure data privacy, compliance, and governance.

- Define and manage user roles and permissions based on organizational requirements.

- Data Quality and Governance : Implement data quality checks and data governance processes within Snowflake to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.

- Develop data validation scripts and quality assurance procedures.

- Documentation and Collaboration: Document technical specifications, data mappings, and system configurations for Snowflake data solutions.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.

Qualifications :

- 2 to 5 years of experience in data warehousing and database development.

- Hands-on experience with Snowflake cloud data platform, including data modeling, ETL development, and SQL programming.

- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.

- Proficiency in SQL programming and database technologies.

- Experience with data integration tools and technologies.

- Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance standards.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
