Position: ERP Technical Consultant

Experience: 2–3 Years

Location: Hyderabad

About the Role

Focus Softnet is seeking a skilled ERP Technical Consultant with hands-on experience in ERP implementation, customization, scripting, integrations, and technical support.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, strong in analytical thinking, and capable of converting business requirements into ERP technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

ERP Implementation & Customization

  • Assist in end-to-end ERP implementation (installation, configuration, data migration, testing).
  • Develop and customize ERP modules as per business needs.
  • Create scripts, workflows, and form customizations within ERP systems.
  • Modify existing features and build new functionalities based on requirements.

Technical Development & Support

  • Handle SQL queries, stored procedures, database design, and performance tuning.
  • Develop integrations between ERP and third-party applications (APIs, REST/SOAP).
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide prompt support to functional teams and customers.
  • Ensure system performance, stability, and uptime.

Client Coordination

  • Work closely with ERP Functional Consultants to understand business requirements.
  • Participate in client discussions and capture technical specifications.
  • Provide user training for technical modules and conduct system demonstrations.

Documentation

  • Prepare technical documentation including SRS, process flows, customization logs.
  • Maintain version-control documentation for deployments.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

  • 2–3 years of hands-on experience in ERP implementation or technical consulting.
  • Strong expertise in SQL / PL-SQL / MySQL / Oracle DB.
  • Knowledge of APIs, web services, JavaScript, XML, JSON.
  • Experience with ERP modules such as Finance, Inventory, Sales, SCM, HCM (preferred).
  • Basic understanding of middleware or integration tools.

Additional Desired Skills

  • Experience in Focus ERP or similar platforms (SAP B1, Oracle Netsuite, Tally Prime, Zoho ERP, Odoo, etc.).
  • Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams under tight deadlines.

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.

  • Ability to translate functional ideas into technical solutions

  • Time management and ownership mindset
