We specialize in programming automation systems from Siemens, Rockwell & Schneider.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time hybrid role for an Automation and Commissioning Engineer - Electrical / Instrumentation / PLC Programmer at Acquatech Ltd - AGATE Industrial solutions Pvt ltd. The role is located in Chennai and travel across India / Abroad. The Automation Engineer will be responsible for developing, testing, and implementing automated systems for industrial processes & Commissioning of the machines on-site.Day-to-day tasks include programming PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), designing electrical control systems, troubleshooting and maintaining automated systems, and collaborating with other engineers and stakeholders to optimize process control and automation. The role may also involve integrating robotics into existing processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.QualificationsElectrical Engineering and Automation skillsExperience in Programming PLCs and designing Electrical Control SystemsDiploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fieldTroubleshooting and Maintenance skills for automated systemsKnowledge of Process Control and RoboticsWillingness to Travel across the world for onsite worksExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to work both independently and collaboratively in a teamExperience in industrial automation or a related field is a plus
