As a Snowflake - Data Architect your work is a combination of hands-on contributions to designing, implementing, and optimizing the Snowflake data warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Snowflake architecture, data modeling, and ETL processes, along with a proven track record of successfully delivering scalable and high-performance data :


Building Horizontal Snowflake Practice :


- Contribute to the organization's success by building reusable frameworks, tools, and accelerators for Snowflake implementations.


- Ensure the reusability of components aligns with the cost optimization strategies outlined in the Snowflake cost model.


- Incorporate the latest features of Snowflake into reusable components to ensure they remain current and effective.


- Support the development of horizontal Snowflake practices, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing across teams.


- Share insights on cost optimization, data modeling best practices, and the utilization of Snowflake features during collaborative efforts.


- Implementations in Snowflake, showcasing a strong understanding of its architecture and capabilities.


- Manage and mentor a team of data engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.


- Actively participate in the Snowflake community, staying updated on the latest features, industry trends, and best practices.


- Promote a culture of innovation, encouraging team members to explore and implement cutting-edge solutions in Snowflake projects.


- Advocate for data quality and governance in the development of reusable components to maintain

consistency.


- Actively participate in relevant conferences, webinars, and forums to stay updated on industry advancements.


- Pursue ongoing education and certification in Snowflake and related technologies to maintain a cutting-edge skill set.


Project Delivery Responsibilities :


- Ensure cost-effective solutions by considering the Snowflake cost model and implementing optimizations where applicable.


- Prioritise data quality and governance in solution design, implementing best practices to maintain accuracy and integrity.


- Provide detailed technical specifications, encompassing data models, ETL processes, and integration points.


- Lead the development of technical solutions for Snowflake-based projects, ensuring alignment with business requirements.


- Incorporate innovative approaches, such as leveraging generative AI, to enhance Snowflake solutions for advanced analytics and predictive modeling.


- Stay updated on Snowflake's latest features, integrating them into project designs for enhanced functionality.


Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the project delivery process.


Requirements :


- B. E. / Masters in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Computer Engineering or any

equivalent degree with good IT experience and strong experience as a Snowflake Architect.


- 8+ years of experience in Snowflake architecture, data modeling, and ETL processes, a minimum of 2 project executions.


- Proficient in handling high-volume data, leading large-scale data migrations, and optimizing costs within the Snowflake environment.


- Good experience in SQL, query optimization techniques, and implementing data security and governance practices in Snowflake.


- Good experience in Snowflake architecture, data modeling, and ETL processes.


- Should have hands-on knowledge of implementing data acquisition strategies, designing integration workflows, and building consumption layers within Snowflake.


- Primary Skills-Snowflake, Python, DBT, AWS/Azure/GCP, Data Modeling, Design Patterns, ETL/ELT processes and Data Warehousing concepts


- Good to have knowledge of building reusable modules, tools, and accelerators for Snowflake.
