This facility will produce chips for applications such as power management IC, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCU) and high-performance computing logic, addressing the growing demand in markets such as automotive, computing and data storage, wireless communications and artificial intelligence.Tata Electronics is a subsidiary of the Tata group. The Tata Group operates in more than 100 countries across six continents, with the mission 'To improve the quality of life of the communities we serve globally, through long term stakeholder value creation based on leadership with Trust.’RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for regular TOF-SIMS analysis to support the Semiconductor Fab Startup in Dholera (Gujrat) and support the technology bring-up by examining wafer implant profiles, dopant concentrations, surface contamination, and microimaging.Conduct TOF-SIMS analysis to support Facilities qualification and regular contamination analysis, also find the source of contamination on Silicon wafer, such as impurities in Ultra-pure water, chemicals and Gases.Work with stakeholders across departments and technology development teams to isolate the root cause of contamination or failures and drive yield improvement. Work with equipment suppliers on maintenance and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and improve overall cost of ownership.Training to peers/technicians in TOF-SIMS techniques, develop cross trained workforce, and document the best practices.Assist the Lab management for overall Lab operations Travel could be requiredESSENTIAL ATTRIBUTES:Ability to manage semiconductor technology projectsAble to work independently, self-motivated with a strong drive to win.Ability to work across diverse cross-functional teams spread across the world.Good communicator with inclusive styleAn avid learner, you approach challenges with curiosity and resilience, seeking data to help build understanding.You’re a collaborative team player, building relationships, humbly offering support and openly welcoming approaches.Innovative and creative, you proactively explore new ideas and adapt quickly to change.QUALIFICATION:M.S or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science or equivalentStrong understanding of Time of Flight Secondary Ion mass Spectroscopy (SIMS) or Magnetic Sector SIMSSome understanding for CMOS Semiconductor manufacturing will be helpfulAbility to participate in cross-functional teams and achieve project completion within timeline and cost targetsAbility to work across different cultures and geographiesGood team playerInnovation and competitive mindsetDESIRED EXPERIENCE LEVEL:2-3+ years experience in the semiconductor industry will be helpful with handson experience on TOF-SIMS or Magnetic sector SIMSTrack record of team participation Proven problem solving skills using analytical tools
