Cloud Architect (GCP Infrastructure)


Position Overview :


We are seeking a highly skilled Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Specialist with hands-on experience in GCP services related to infrastructure and strong architectural skills.

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure solutions to support our organization's growing needs.

This individual should possess a deep understanding of GCP services, infrastructure as code automation using Ansible, and cloud architecture best practices.

Responsibilities :


Infrastructure Design and Implementation :


- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available GCP infrastructure solutions.


- Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) templates using tools like Terraform or Deployment Manager to automate deployment and configuration processes.

Cloud Architecture :


- Architect cloud solutions that meet business requirements while adhering to best practices for performance, reliability, security, and cost optimization.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud-native applications and services.

GCP Service Expertise :


- Demonstrate expertise in a wide range of GCP services including but not limited to Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, Networking, IAM and Monitoring.

- Provide guidance and support to development teams on leveraging GCP services effectively.

Performance Optimization and Cost Management :


- Monitor and optimize GCP infrastructure performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.

- Implement cost management strategies and best practices to optimize cloud spending.

Security and Compliance :

- Implement security best practices and compliance requirements in GCP environments.

- Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and audits to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of. data.

Documentation and Knowledge Sharing :


- Create comprehensive documentation for infrastructure architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.

- Share knowledge and best practices with team members to foster continuous learning and improvement.

Qualifications :


- bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

- Proven experience as a GCP Specialist or Cloud Engineer with a focus on infrastructure.

- Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and managing GCP infrastructure solutions.

- Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, including microservices, containerization, and serverless computing.

- Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, Deployment Manager, or CloudFormation.

- Excellent knowledge of GCP services and features, with the ability to recommend optimal solutions based on requirements.

- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

- Solid understanding of networking concepts and experience with cloud networking configurations.

- Experience with security best practices identity and access management (IAM), and compliance standards in cloud environments.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications :


- Google Cloud certifications such as Professional Cloud Architect,.

- Professional Cloud Developer, or Professional Cloud Network Engineer.

- Experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Stackdriver.
