Job Summary :

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Salesforce DevOps Engineer to lead our DevOps and release management efforts for Salesforce applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the Salesforce release process, ensuring the timely and accurate deployment of updates, and implementing best practices for continuous integration and delivery.


The role involves collaborating with technical teams, ensuring customer satisfaction, and mentoring junior team members. You will be responsible for driving superior support for our clients through robust processes, procedures, and training.

Key Responsibilities :

Salesforce DevOps Management :


- Oversee the end-to-end release management process, including planning, scheduling, and deploying Salesforce updates.


- Manage the team of L1/L2 support specialists, ensuring seamless technical support and assistance to customers.


- Ensure timely responses to escalated Salesforce support issues, identifying root causes, and implementing long-term solutions.


Process & Policy Implementation :


- Implement, evaluate, and continuously improve Salesforce DevOps processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.


- Formulate and revise DevOps and release policies to ensure the smooth delivery of services.


- Monitor industry trends and provide training to the team on new technologies and best practices in Salesforce DevOps.


Team Leadership & Training :


- Lead and mentor the DevOps team, providing guidance on best practices and offering regular feedback to improve performance.


- Conduct performance evaluations and manage the disciplinary process in alignment with company policies.


- Oversee and evaluate the team's ongoing training efforts, ensuring continuous development of skills and & Documentation :


- Ensure all deployments adhere to compliance protocols and Salesforce standards.


- Prepare and maintain detailed reports on release metrics, support statistics, and findings to provide insights and identify areas for & Reporting :


- Work closely with the development and operations teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of code.


- Coordinate with the Salesforce team to keep them informed of new developments, changes in procedures, and updates.


- Report regularly on team performance and key DevOps metrics to senior Support :


- Ensure round-the-clock support availability for critical Salesforce-related issues.


- Manage escalated client requests and concerns, ensuring timely resolution and client satisfaction.


- Provide insights and recommendations on improving the client support experience.


Key Requirements :


Experience :


- Proven experience in Salesforce administration or development with a focus on release management and DevOps processes.


- Prior experience in a supervisory or managerial role is highly advantageous.


- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and best practices for DevOps and CI/CD processes.


- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git), continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins), and release management tools like Copado, Gearset, or AutoRABIT.


Skills :


- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.


- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with the capacity to manage and develop a team.


- Well-developed arbitration skills to manage escalated issues impartially and effectively.


- High attention to detail with the ability to multitask and manage multiple releases at once.
