The Opportunity

The Indirect Tax Manager will play a pivotal role in managing Ultrahumans direct tax function, including domestic and international tax compliance, advisory, and planning. The ideal candidate will be a qualified Chartered Accountant with a strong mix of consulting and industry experience, global exposure, and deep understanding of tax laws, audits, and reporting.


Preferred Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in indirect tax management
  • Experience with Indian GST laws and international indirect tax regimes
  • Experience with Indirect tax planning and strategy
  • Experience with Customs and import/export tax management
  • Experience with Cross-border transaction analysis
  • Experience with Tax process automation and optimization
  • Experience in managing tax compliance for global operations


Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage indirect tax compliance for India and international jurisdictions, ensuring timely and accurate filings.
  • Advise on GST, VAT, and other indirect tax matters, providing guidance to internal stakeholders and business units.
  • Monitor changes in indirect tax legislation across relevant countries and assess their impact on business operations.
  • Coordinate with external advisors and tax authorities to resolve queries, audits, and assessments efficiently.
  • Develop and implement robust processes for indirect tax reporting, documentation, and risk management.
  • Support cross-border transactions by evaluating indirect tax implications and recommending optimal structures.
  • Train and mentor team members on indirect tax regulations, compliance procedures, and best practices.
