Job Description :


- 4+ years' of strong experience on BI Reporting - QlikSense & Qlikview Suit, Looker, etc

- Good knowledge on SQL, PL/SQL

- Experienced in developing end to end Qlik reports

- Experienced in process & report automation

- Experienced in data modelling, analysis & reporting

- Good to have knowledge of GCP and Google Data Studio, Power BI

- Knowledge of Agile and DevOps

In this role, you will :

- Develop reports and dashboards using Qlik Suits.

- Develop data lineage from different sources into DataMart

- Carry out performance optimisation on dashboard

- Master data maintenance

- Data modelling and research on predictive analytics

- Design, develop and automate BAU processes to reduce technical/manual debt

Responsibilities :


1. Data Source Integration :

- Integrate data from multiple disparate sources such as databases, APIs, flat files, and cloud platforms into QlikView/QlikSense for reporting and visualization.

- Ensure data consistency and handle complex data transformation (ETL) processes using Qlik's built-in functionalities.

2. User Requirement Gathering :

- Collaborate with stakeholders (business analysts, managers, end-users) to gather and understand reporting and dashboard requirements.

- Translate business requirements into technical specifications for dashboard design.

3. Advanced Data Visualization :

- Design and implement complex visualizations and reports that clearly communicate insights and trends.

- Employ best practices for UI/UX design within QlikSense/QlikView to ensure user-friendly and interactive dashboards.

4. Version Control and Collaboration :

- Utilize version control systems (such as Git or Qlik's QMC) to manage development changes and ensure proper versioning of scripts, dashboards, and reports.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on data projects.

5. Documentation and Training :

- Document technical and business logic, data models, and ETL processes for ongoing maintenance and future reference.

- Conduct training sessions for business users and power users on how to interact with dashboards and leverage BI tools for decision-making.

6. Security Management :

- Implement role-based access control and manage data security within Qlik environments to ensure sensitive data is protected and users have the appropriate levels of access.

7. Data Quality Assurance :

- Develop and implement data validation and data quality checks to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data across reports and dashboards.

- Monitor and troubleshoot data discrepancies or performance issues.

8. Performance Monitoring and Scalability :

- Monitor the ongoing performance of Qlik reports and dashboards, identifying areas for improvement in load times and data processing.

- Implement scalable solutions for increasing data volumes and user demands.

9. Qlik Extension Development :

- Develop and integrate Qlik extensions (custom visualization objects) to enhance the functionality and customization of reports as needed by the business.

- Leverage APIs to embed Qlik visualizations into other applications or web-based platforms.

10. Collaboration with Data Engineering and IT Teams :

- Work closely with data engineers and IT infrastructure teams to optimize backend processes, ensure the efficient use of resources, and maintain server environments.

- Participate in designing and implementing data warehouses or data lakes in alignment with the reporting needs.

11. Innovation and Continuous Improvement :

- Stay updated with the latest features and best practices in QlikSense, QlikView, and other BI tools.

- Proactively suggest enhancements to improve business reporting, user experience, and decision-making processes.

12. Support & Maintenance :

- Provide ongoing support to ensure the BI systems and Qlik applications function smoothly post-deployment.

- Troubleshoot user-reported issues and provide timely fixes or improvements.

13. Collaboration in Agile Teams :

- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

- Work in sprints to deliver incremental updates and improvements to dashboards and BI systems.
