Software Engineering Lead Analyst (Java)

Position Overview:

Full Stack engineer supporting Cigna's Fee for Value applications Under Provider Organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of Code
  • Implement Strategy solutions related to Cignas Enterprise Operations.
  • Collaborate with analysts and Product owners to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Identifies opportunities and implements improvements to team platforms, processes, and tools to enhance team effectiveness.
  • Engage in technical troubleshooting and problem resolution.

Required Skills:

  • Good communication and collaboration skills.

Required Experience & Education:

  • Experience with Java / J2EE, Python, API development and implementation.
  • Experience in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/Typescript frameworks.
  • Experience in Spring, Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate, GIT, Maven, Jenkins, Splunk.
  • Knowledge of messaging tools like MQ, Kafka, etc.
  • Experience with TDD / BDD frameworks.
  • Knowledge in SQL and PL/SQL is desired.
  • Knowledge in AWS services, IAM, EC2, S3, ECS, EKS, Cloud Watch, StepFunctions, Lambdas, MWAA, SQS, SNS, Glue, Athena etc.
  • Hands-on experience in Python, and Shell scripting.
  • Experience with any relational database management systems.
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) tools like GitHub, Jenkins, etc.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Dynatrace or Splunk etc.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies.

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer Science or a related field
  • 6+ years of experience in developer or operations roles.
  • 5+ years of hands-on development experience with Java / J2EE, Spring frameworks, Rest web services, Hibernate / JPA.

Desired Experience:

  • AWS certification is preferred.
