Senior Role_ Facade

1. Technical Ownership

• Support the complete façade design lifecycle from concept to IFC / GFC stage for all projects with Design Team.
• Collaborate closely with architects, consultants, and structural teams to translate architectural vision into technically feasible façade systems
• Review and validate façade concepts, system selection, material specifications, and detailed drawings
• Ensure compliance with architectural intent, green building norms, thermal performance, acoustic requirements, and sustainability standards
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate façade systems (unitized, semi-unitized, stick system, curtain walls, glazing, ACP, stone, etc.) based on project requirements
• Conduct technical scrutiny of façade calculations, structural analysis, wind load design, thermal movement, and performance criteria
• Ensure design optimization for cost, material efficiency, and lifecycle performance from execution stand point
• Review shop drawings, mock-up proposals, and sample approvals for alignment with design intent
• Participate in design coordination meetings and lead façade-related discussions
• Proactively identify design risks and recommend mitigation strategies during early design stages
• Drive innovation in façade technology and introduce industry best practices

2. Execution Oversight & Constructability Management

• Ensure smooth execution of façade works while protecting design intent
• Support project execution teams with technical guidance during site implementation
• Conduct periodic site reviews to verify adherence to approved façade designs and specifications
• Provide resolutions for design-related RFIs and technical clarifications from site/vendors
• Oversee façade mock-ups, testing processes, and approval cycles
• Validate sequencing, installation methodology, and site execution plans
• Monitor critical milestones related to façade installation and highlight deviations
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure materials and workmanship meet design standards
• Assist in resolving site challenges related to façade constructability and performance

Design & Pre-Construction Phase

• Lead façade scheme development by analyzing project complexities, constraints, and performance requirements
• Review and finalize façade drawings, BOQs, technical specifications, and design deliverables
• Ensure timely readiness of design inputs for tendering and execution
• Collaborate with Contracts team for technical evaluation of façade vendors
• Support value engineering exercises without compromising design integrity
• Participate in design risk assessments and feasibility studies

Project Execution Phase

• Develop and monitor façade-specific schedules in alignment with the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
• Provide technical oversight during installation of façade systems
• Monitor quality, safety, and compliance in execution
• Review progress reports and highlight technical deviations or risks
• Ensure coordination between design teams, site teams, and vendors

People Management

• Lead and mentor the façade design and execution team
• Build design capabilities and technical strength within the team
• Assign responsibilities aligned with project and skill requirements
• Conduct performance reviews and provide structured feedback
• Identify and groom potential leaders within the façade team

Qualification & Experience

Qualification:

• Bachelor of Engineering (Civil / Structural / Architecture preferred)

Experience:

• 18–25 years of experience in façade design and execution with strong design exposure

Certifications:

• PMP / Façade Design Certifications preferred
