Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and solution-oriented GCP Data Engineer to join our team. This role requires hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), especially with BigQuery and Airflow, alongside strong SQL and Python skills. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in solving problems independently, communicates effectively, and delivers reliable data solutions.


As a GCP Data Engineer, your responsibilities include:

  • Technical Requirements Gathering and Development of Functional Specifications.
  • Analysis on Various Development Alternatives for Applications, Information Systems, and Modules.
  • Code Development in the Area of Data Management – Cloud, Data Integration, Analytics & Reporting.
  • Supporting Junior Developers and providing Team Leadership/Mentorship.
  • Supporting the Presales Team – Technical Whitepapers, Solutions Review.
  • Working with Agile multicultural teams in Asia, the EU, Canada, and the USA.


Profile Requirements

For this position of GCP Data Engineer, we are looking for someone with:

  • (Required) Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering, with strong expertise in GCP, especially BigQuery and DataProc.
  • (Required) Proficient in SQL, Python, and PySpark.
  • (Optional) Experience with SSRS is a plus.
  • (Required) Strong communication skills with the ability to work across teams.
  • (Required) Proactive, ownership-driven mindset with a focus on delivering solutions.
  • (Required) Experience in full-lifecycle data engineering projects on GCP.
