Poshmark focuses on people -- through this we create empowering communities driven by passion and mutual support. Each member of our team embraces their uniqueness, which allows us to welcome others and drive innovation through dynamic thinking, collaboration, and diversity.
The Marketplace Trust team is responsible for mitigating content and abuse-related risks to Poshmark with a scope that falls under five main areas: Content Policy, Intellectual Property Operations, Prohibited Content, Scaled Abuse, and User Safety.

This includes reviewing daily Sift routes and resolving key vulnerabilities at the root cause, conducting mass account restrictions as necessary, and implementing appropriate route updates to prevent similar abuse in the future.
- Monitor and maintain team KPIs including minimizing false positives across automated detection systems (precision) and working with partners to improve catch rate (recall).
- Maintain strong, productive partnerships with product, engineering, data analytics teams as well as relevant 3rd party vendors (Sift) to build adequate solutions for both emerging and established risk areas.
- Maintain positive and productive relationships with external intellectual property rights owners by expeditiously handling escalated notices of alleged IP infringement and counterfeit.
- Satisfy ad-hoc data needs by performing or partnering on analyses applicable to areas outside of primary domain as needed.
- Implement and document new methods, processes and procedures to optimize daily operations while mitigating user friction. This includes establishing new and revisiting previously established workflows to ensure operations remain operationally efficient and legally compliant.
