AVP – Control Business Analyst

Level: Assistant Vice President

Location: Noida / Gurgaon

Organization: Top Global Investment Bank

Work Model: Hybrid / On-site

Experience: 8–14 years

Compensation: Up to ₹25 LPA

Role Summary

We are looking for an AVP – Control Business Analyst to own and strengthen risk & control frameworks, drive RCSA, issue management, and deliver high-quality MI and insights to senior stakeholders within a global investment banking environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own Risk & Control Self-Assessments (RCSA), control testing, issue management, root cause analysis, and remediation tracking
  • Assess control design & effectiveness across operational and financial risk areas
  • Build and deliver controls MI, dashboards, KRIs/KCIs, and senior management reporting
  • Identify control gaps and recommend process improvements aligned to regulatory and internal frameworks
  • Partner with Risk, Governance, Compliance, Audit, and Business teams across regions
  • Support internal audits, regulatory reviews, and governance forums
  • Drive automation and efficiency in control reporting and MI processes

Required Experience & Skills

  • 8–14 years of experience in Risk, Controls, Governance, or Operational Risk within banking / financial services
  • Strong hands-on experience with RCSA, control testing, issue remediation, and governance reporting
  • Proven experience delivering MI & dashboards for senior stakeholders
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Excel, SQL, Tableau/Power BI (or similar tools)

Good to Have

  • Exposure to BCBS 239, data governance, regulatory reporting
  • Experience with automation / analytics tools (Alteryx, Python, Power Automate, etc.)
  • Prior experience in investment banking or global financial institutions

Not Suitable For

  • Pure FP&A / Accounting / Finance Business Partnering roles
  • IT Audit / ITGC-only profiles without business controls
  • Pure Data Analytics / MIS roles without controls ownership
  • Junior / Analyst-level profiles
