As a member of the QA Automation Engineering team, your primary responsibilities would be :

- SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) responsible for creating Automated test frameworks, designing and implementing test cases, and writing Code to improve the overall testability of the Software.

- Involved in the entire Software development process and collaborate closely with developers, apply knowledge of Programming languages, Data structures, and Algorithms to identify and fix issues in the Code.

- Develop Automated test Framework


- Design & implement test cases


- Improve the testability of software

- Most of the time creating or updating Code for their test automation framework.

- Learn and understand the deception domain.

- Learn and understand the Product functionality.

- API validation of the SaaS Infrastructure and Product.

- Build Automation for API Validation.

- Work with Product Management to understand requirements and provide feedback.

- Understand the functionality from deception perspective and then design and develop tests.

- Validate Product installation across environments (Hardware and Cloud)

- Test execution and bug reporting.

- Self-development and upskilling to bring value to the role and company.

The following are a MUST have for this role :

- Preferably Computer Science, typically with a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.

- Working both in test automation tool development and quality testing or assurance.

- Experts with testing tools, developing automated test and testing frameworks as well as have the domain knowledge to be able to create acceptance tests.

- Good programming experience, development and know object-oriented programming, understand all areas of the developed phase.

- Modify existing code and understand the technical architecture, software design, and the software development process.

- 4 to 6 years hands on experience in QA (Automation) at product companies

- At least 3 years hands-on experience of Microservice and API validation.

- Clear and in depth understanding of the Product functionality that you have worked on.

- Strong ability to analyse requirements.

- Hands on experience in developing & execution of Test cases and debugging issues.

- Strong hands-on experience in API automation

- Experience in test plan preparation, test case design and test execution.

- Good understanding of Operating System and Networking functioning

- Extensive knowledge in Testing methodologies

- Good problem solving and debugging ability.

- Good communication skills and an attitude to find solutions by interacting with Engineers across teams.

The following are good to haves :

- Candidates with Kubernetes experience are preferred.

- Experience in Security Product companies is added advantage.

- Hands on experience in Microsoft Active Directory is added advantage.

- Hands on experience testing on Cloud platforms like GCP and/or AWS and/or Azure.

- Hands on experience in Vulnerability and Exploits is added advantage.
