The consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing high-performance Python-based services, integrating with frontend applications, and ensuring reliability and scalability for large-volume transaction systems.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop Python-based backend services using FastAPI and DjangoBuild and maintain microservices and RESTful web servicesDevelop and deploy applications on Google Cloud PlatformWork with GCP services including Pub/Sub, Cloud Run, GKE, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and IAMIntegrate backend APIs with frontend applications built using ReactDesign and implement API integrations with internal and external systemsOptimize application performance for high-throughput and large-volume transactionsImplement efficient data access layers and performance tuning strategiesEnsure reliability, scalability, and security of deployed servicesCollaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutionsRequired Skills and ExperienceStrong hands-on experience with Python developmentExperience building APIs using FastAPI and DjangoProven experience developing Python microservices and RESTful APIsStrong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform servicesExperience deploying and running applications on Cloud Run and GKEExperience working with BigQuery and Cloud StorageGood understanding of IAM, service accounts, and access controlsExperience integrating React frontends with backend APIsStrong knowledge of performance tuning and reliability engineeringAbility to work independently in a freelance or contract environment
