Job Description:

As the SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) Consultant, you will guide Clients on the MDG journey. You will leverage your prior experiences to help plan how to deliver the greatest business value to the customer. This role requires deep knowledge and understanding of MDG technical & functional capabilities, including industry best practices (Chemical Industry). You will help enable the SAP Practice through knowledge sharing initiatives (Onshore & Offshore).

You will be responsible for below:

• Guide Clients through Business Partners concept and data migration activities to and from S/4HANA MDG
• Have a comprehensive understanding of business partners, customers, suppliers, and products. data domains within SAP
• Responsible for defining Business Requirements, leading the Business Blueprint & Design process, configuration, assistance with testing, requirements gathering and ultimately setup a fully functional development, test, and production environment to delivery SAP MDG Customer, Suppliers, Material, Finance scope to the Client.
• Create an Integration test Plan for MDG + Data Services Information Steward for SAP ECC/ S/4HANA Core ERP
• Responsible for making solution recommendations considering Client’s business k and implementation
• Analyze and problem solve issues with integrated data flows across the Client’s SAP & Non-SAP systems
• Prepare the functional specifications and work with project’s technical resources to ensure delivery of objects as per the project timelines
• Design/build reports to be used for auditing purposes of master data and data quality checks
• Create configuration documents and training documents.
• Conduct train-the-trainer activities as needed to power users of S/4HANA MDG
• Work with functional data owners to develop policies and processes to standardize, optimize, secure, and leverage Business Partner master data as an asset
• Liaise with data stewards who are responsible for managing data fields within scope of responsibility e.g., Financial Accounting, Sales Operations, New Product Administration, etc.
• Conducts research and determines the best course of action to correct the data
• Drive impact analysis of any master data attributes or data sources change, enhancements or change requests
• 3 to 5 years of MDG/data analysis consulting experience in large data transformation engagement in the Process & Discrete Manufacturing Industries with at least 3 SAP MDG projects involving Customer, Supplier and Material data domains within SAP
• Experience managing or executing data extraction, cleansing, data mapping, data quality and data governance areas, preferably in an SAP environment as well as integration across complex ERP landscapes to support cross-functional business teams
• Knowledge and experience of interfacing SAP with other enterprise business applications
• Experience in any of the following SAP MDG Releases:- SAP Master Data Governance Cloud 2211
• SAP S/4HANA 1909 to 2208 Cloud
• SAP MDG 9.2
• SAP MDG 9.1
• SAP MDG 9.0
• SAP MDG 8.0
• SAP MDG 7.0
• Extensive SAP ECC 6.0 and/or SAP S/4HANA experience in the areas of SD, MM, FI data domains
• Expertise in Data Model Enhancement, Data Transfer (DIF/DEF), Data Replication Framework (DRF), Business Rules Framework plus (BRFplus).
• Experience in Configuration rule-based Workflow.
• Experience in User Interface modelling (Design and Creation of UI, Value restriction, Define navigation elements of type Hyperlink or Push button, Data quality, Validation and Derivation rules).
• Experience in Process Modelling (Entity, Business Activity change, Request type, Workflow, Edition type, Relationship, Data replication techniques, SOA service, ALE connection, Key & value mapping, Data transfer, Export & import master data, Convert master data).
• Experience with SQL, data profiling, fuzzy matching, or master data hierarchy definition (for Assets, Inventory, product, supplier, location, etc.)
• Positive attitude and proactive nature to work with Cross-Teams.
• Working knowledge of agile and waterfall development methodologies.
• Self-motivated, strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
