Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to join our team for a key project based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, publishing, and maintaining interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI, while collaborating with stakeholders to deliver business insights and data-driven decision-making capabilities.

This role requires on-site presence in Riyadh for a period of 6 months to 1 year, with the possibility of extension based on project scope and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy interactive and visually appealing Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and BI solutions.
  • Connect to various data sources including SQL Server, Excel, APIs, and cloud-based data services.
  • Optimize DAX queries and data models for performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and data engineers to understand business goals.
  • Perform unit testing and troubleshoot issues with existing reports.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across all BI solutions.
  • Provide support and training to end users as required.
  • Document solutions and contribute to best practices in BI development.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience working with Power BI and other Microsoft BI technologies.
  • Strong expertise in DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
  • Proficiency with SQL and experience querying large datasets.
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI service (publishing, refreshing, workspace management).
  • Strong understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like Azure is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
