Required Skills and Experience -

- 6+ years of hands-on experience in managing and administrating Azure PaaS environments.

- 3+ years of hands-on experience setting up, solutioning, configuring, provisioning, and administering Azure Databricks platform -must be a SME.

- Any experience in providing best practices around Azure Databricks for enterprise environments and helping build out solutions around capacity planning.

- Any experience using Terraform templates or manual approach to deploy Azure PaaS services.

- 1-3 years hands-on experience with Azure network (creation of private and service endpoints, NSG rules, routing, firewalls, internal and external web applications, Azure VNets, Subnets, Azure network settings, CIDR address blocks, DNS settings, security policies).

- Experience with Azure DevOps.

- 1+ year of hands on experience with scripting (PowerShell, Python, Azure CLI).

- Experience with infrastructure monitoring and logging tools.

- Excellent remote collaboration skills.

- Ability to work in matrix organization.

- Agile delivery model.

- Excellent communication skills.

Job Description :

- A Fortune 50 client is look for an Azure Databricks SME to join their Enterprise Data Architecture and Platform Engineering team to come join their team to support several different projects across different business units within this company.

- This company is expanding their Azure PaaS services across several business units and expanding their Azure Databricks solutions across the enterprise.

- You will be responsible for managing daily administration tasks as it relates to their Azure Databricks environment, including system provisioning, performance monitoring, access management, troubleshooting network issues, and Azure Databricks deployments in new environments.

- This role will also have you helping create new solutions around Databricks and help build capacity and solutions as this company moves more users on the platform.

- This person must be a SME in Azure Databricks.

- This role is 100% remote, but open to working either EST or CST time zone.
