Position Overview

We are seeking a Junior Business Analyst to support the delivery of AI, Machine Learning, Data, and Process Automation initiatives across the organization. The role will work on digital transformation projects involving intelligent automation, analytics-driven decision-making, and AI-enabled business solutions.

The Business Analyst will collaborate with business stakeholders, data scientists, AI engineers, solution architects, and IT teams to translate business needs into clear requirements and ensure successful delivery and adoption of AI and automation solutions.

This role is ideal for early-career professionals interested in working at the intersection of business, data, and emerging technologies, with strong analytical thinking and a willingness to learn in a fast-evolving AI environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Analysis:
• Engage with business users to understand process pain points, automation needs, and solution opportunities.
• Define and document functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process maps.
• Assist in defining problem statements, success criteria, and measurable business outcomes for AI initiatives.
• Document user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows (as-is and to-be), including AI-assisted workflows.
• Create and maintain requirements traceability across project lifecycle.
• Work with solution architects to translate requirements into technical designs.
• Prepare and maintain test cases
• Process & Governance:
• Ensure that project documentation, decision logs, and change requests are maintained properly.
• Support development of UAT scripts, coordinate User Acceptance Testing, and manage sign-offs.
• Drive training, user enablement, and adoption of delivered solutions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of project delivery processes.

Required Skills

• 0–4 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role in digital, IT, or data-related projects.
• Hands-on experience or strong understanding of:
• Requirements elicitation and documentation.
• Process modelling (using tools like Visio, Lucidchart, or similar).
• Writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methods (Scrum, Kanban) and iterative development.
• Basic understanding of AI, ML, data analytics, or automation concepts (models, data flows, automation logic).
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams including business users, data scientists, developers, and vendors.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Exposure to one or more of the following:
• AI/ML projects or proof-of-concepts
• Data analytics or data engineering initiatives
• RPA or intelligent automation tools
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) in a data or AI context.
• Awareness of ethical AI, data privacy, or model governance concepts.
• Experience or interest in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial domains.

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and structured thinking, especially when working with probabilistic or non-deterministic AI outputs.
• Clear and effective communication skills across business and technical audiences.

Qualifications

Following are mandatory requirements.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
• Business Administration, or
• Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Entry-level certifications in Business Analysis, Data, AI, or Agile (e.g., CCBA, CSM, PMI-ACP, Azure AI fundamentals) are a plus but not mandatory.

Deliverables

• Requirements documents, process flows, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Risk and issue logs, stakeholder communications.
• UAT test scripts, signoffs, and user enablement artifacts.
• Retrospective reports and lessons learned.
