Designation: Senior Sap Retail Consultant

Experience: 5+ Years

Industry Preference: Retail

Mandatory- SAP IS-Retail

Location Mumbai

Implementation & Rollouts: Lead or actively participate in SAP Retail implementation, rollout, and support projects.

• Business Analysis: Conduct workshops to gather requirements, perform gap analysis, and design business processes.

• Configuration & Customization: Configure SAP IS-Retail and related modules (MM, SD) for pricing, promotions, site setup, allocation runs, and POS integration.

• Integration: Ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules (FI, PP, QM) and external systems.

• Testing & Deployment: Prepare functional specifications, unit/integration test scripts, and oversee UAT.

• Training & Documentation: Develop key user training materials and conduct sessions for end-users.

• Support & Maintenance: Resolve helpdesk tickets, monitor IDOCs, queues, and workflows for SAP production systems.

• Project Management: Manage timelines, deliverables, and coordinate with developers and stakeholders.

Required Skills

• SAP Expertise:

o SAP s4 HANA Retail, IS-Retail, MM, SD, AFS (Apparel & Footwear Solution)

o SAP S/4HANA and Fiori experience

• Business Process Knowledge:

o Retail operations, inventory management, procurement, pricing, and promotions

• Technical Skills:

o ABAP debugging (basic), IDOC handling, EDI/PI integration

• Soft Skills:

o Strong communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and leadership

• Methodologies:

o SAP Activate, ITIL processes for incident and change management

Experience

• Minimum: Minimum 5+ years in SAP consulting with at least 3 full-cycle retail implementations and Minimum 3+ years in retail company, preferably company dealing in AFS (Apparel and footwear Solution)

• Domain: Fashion, consumer goods, or general retail industry experience is highly valued.

Certifications (Preferred)

• SAP Certified Application Associate in IS-Retail or S/4HANA Retail

• PMP or equivalent for project management

• Business Blueprint documentation

• Functional specifications for RICEFW objects

• Configuration guides and test scripts

• Training manuals and post-go-live support plans

• Overseeing incident and Service request management and preparation of periodic operation report.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SAP Retail implementation, rollout, and support projects.

• Conduct requirement-gathering workshops and perform gap analysis.

• Configure SAP S4 HANA Retail and related modules (MM, SD) for pricing, promotions, site setup, and POS integration.

• Ensure integration with other SAP modules and external systems.

• Prepare functional specifications, test scripts, and oversee UAT.

• Provide training and documentation for end-users.

• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication.

• Offer post-go-live support and resolve production issues.

• Experience: Minimum 5+ years in SAP consulting with at least 3 full-cycle retail implementations and Minimum 3+ years in retail company, preferably company dealing in AFS (Apparel and footwear Solution)

• Strong understanding of retail business processes (inventory, procurement, pricing, promotions).

• Basic ABAP debugging and IDOC handling knowledge.

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

• Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology and ITIL processes.
