Role - Senior Data Architect - Snowflake Job Location - Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, Gurugram, KolkataJoining Time Required - Immediate - Max 30 Days.Responsibilities:Design and develop comprehensive data architectures for Snowflake, including data warehousing, data lakes, and data marts, aligning with business requirements and best practices.Lead the data modeling efforts, creating conceptual, logical, and physical data models for complex data structures within Snowflake, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and optimal performance.Architect and optimize ETL/ELT processes for efficient data ingestion, transformation, and loading into Snowflake from various sources.Implement and enforce data governance policies, security measures, and compliance standards within the Snowflake environment.Conduct performance tuning and optimization of Snowflake queries, virtual warehouses, and overall data architecture.Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to translate business needs into technical data solutions.Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior data professionals.Evaluate and recommend new Snowflake features, tools, and best practices to enhance our data capabilities.Develop and maintain technical documentation for data architecture, models, and processes.Mandatory Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.9-14 years of progressive experience in data architecture, data warehousing, and data engineering.Proven expertise in data modeling (dimensional modeling, 3NF, data vault, etc.) with hands-on experience in designing and implementing complex data models for large-scale data warehouses.Extensive hands-on experience with Snowflake cloud data platform, including architecture, administration, performance tuning, and advanced features (e.g., Time Travel, Zero-Copy Cloning, Streams, Tasks).Strong proficiency in SQL for data manipulation, querying, and optimization within Snowflake.In-depth understanding of ETL/ELT methodologies and experience with data integration tools.Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their integration with Snowflake.Solid understanding of data governance, security, and compliance principles.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Skills:Experience with scripting languages like Python for data automation and integration.Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and their integration with Snowflake.Certifications in Snowflake or cloud platforms are a plus.
