  1. Experience in IBM AIX Server Administration
  2. As this is for a L2 requirement, candidates should have strong skills in installation, configuration, administration and troubleshooting of all areas of IBM AIX Server.
  3. Administer and maintain AIX systems including LVM, HACMP ,VIO servers, and HMC.
  4. Perform OS upgrades and patching on AIX and Red Hat Linux systems.
  5. Configure and manage IBM Pacemaker clusters for high availability.
  6. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across AIX and Linux environments.
  7. Manage logical volumes, file systems, and storage configurations.
  8. Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to ensure system reliability and performance.
  9. Maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
  10. Ensure compliance with security policies and implement system hardening practices.
  11. Extensive knowledge on IBM HMc and firmware upgrades
  12. Strong knowledge on AIX upgrades from 7.2 to 7.3 and Vio version upgrades
