The candidate will be responsible for conducting due diligence, title search, and drafting , negotiating various real estate agreements as well as oversee the licensing activities for the organization. This role involves leading a legal team and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to mitigate legal risks and support business growth.Key Deliverables (What Will You Do)• Conduct legal due diligence and title search for land/real estate transactions.• Draft, review, and negotiate lease deeds, leave & license agreements, and related property documents.• Ensure compliance with local, state, and central real estate laws and regulatory requirements.• Coordinate with government authorities, external counsel, landowners, and internal business teams.• Manage and mentor the legal real estate/licensing team to support function-wide objectives.• Provide strategic legal advice for real estate and logistics operations.• Maintain proper documentation, contract lifecycle management, and repository.• Identify potential legal risks, propose mitigation strategies, and support dispute resolution.• Support internal process improvements and compliance initiatives.• The candidate shall also advise on applicable license requirement on new product launches, advise on applicable legal provisions from Drugs & Cosmetics Act, legal metrology, Food Safety & Standards Act and other relevant laws.• Ensure timely procurement / renewal of required licenses for all warehouses.Job Specification (What Will You Need)• B.A., LLB degree from a recognized university.• 7 to 9 years of relevant experience in real estate legal work within logistics, infrastructure, industrial, or commercial real estate sectors.• Strong knowledge of due diligence, title search procedures, and local land laws.• Proven experience in drafting and negotiating lease deeds and leave & license agreements.• Proficiency in English and Marathi (verbal & written).• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.• Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.• Team management/leadership experience.Preferred Attributes• Experience working in logistics, warehousing, or industrial real estate.• Knowledge of regional land record systems and regulatory authorities.• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.About ElasticRun Elasticrun is sparking a quiet revolution, reshaping consumption as well as distribution, and is dedicated to transforming lives.
