The TAC Engineer will be responsible for providing front line technical support to debug complex issues in customer production networks, specifically in the SDWAN deployments, by troubleshooting and replicating customer issues of diverse scope.

Educational Qualification

The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent field of study.

Experience

6+ years of hands-on experience in the domain of Routing/Switching or Security troubleshooting or implementation .

Roles and Responsibilities

 Troubleshooting network routing and security related issues in production networks  Replicate the customer issues in lab environment  Work with engineering teams to replicate customer issues and test possible fixes.  Work on problems of diverse scope  Create knowledge articles for subordinates and other team members  Should have a good knowledge of Routing, Switching or Security protocols.

Essential Skills  Should have a working understanding of Routing protocols like OSPF and BGP  Should have a clear understanding of TCP/UDP flows  Experience of working in a TAC/Support environment is a plus  Understanding of Security protocols and features is a plus  Understanding of various authentication models (AD/LDAP, SAML) is a plus  Should have good communication skills and the ability to drive calls with customers.

Desired Skills  The Ideal candidate will be an individual contributor, who is a self-starter, with excellent interpersonal, communication, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.  Should be able to handle calls with the production customers while troubleshooting their network issues.  Prior experience of working with TAC environment will be a plus.  Demonstrate an aptitude and appetite for learning new technologies, evidenced by the ability to expand upon core knowledge. Competency  Team player, can-do attitude and takes initiative.  Ability to work independently as well as in a team  Good communication skills to work with cross-functional groups.  Strong skills in large-scale software design and development.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Note: Positions in Bangalore & Chennai will involve 24/7 support. Candidate should be willing for the same, this can be discussed further with our TAC Manager
