Role Overview

The Finance Executive / Assistant Manager will support Packfora’s Finance & Accounts team in maintaining accurate books of accounts, statutory compliance, and financial reporting. The role offers exposure to end-to-end finance operations, ERP migration, and process automation in a fast-growing consulting environment.

The ideal candidate is a recently qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 0–2 years of post-qualification experience (including article-ship), skilled in accounting, taxation, and financial analysis, and eager to grow into a managerial finance role.


Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Financial Reporting

• Handle daily accounting operations – accounts payable, receivable, bank reconciliations, and general

ledger postings.

• Support month-end and year-end closings, assisting in preparation of P&L, balance sheet, and schedules.

• Assist in financial statement finalization and audit documentation.

• Participate in migration of books from Zoho Books to Microsoft Dynamics (ERP) and ensure data accuracy.


2. Taxation & Compliance

• Prepare and file TDS, GST, and income tax returns under supervision.

• Ensure compliance with Companies Act and other statutory requirements.

• Assist in tax assessments, audit replies, and reconciliations.

• Support ROC and statutory filings in coordination with consultants.


3. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

• Assist in budget preparation, variance analysis, and cost monitoring.

• Prepare MIS and management dashboards for leadership review.

• Perform cost-benefit and SKU-level profitability analysis when required.


4. ERP, Process & Automation

Support ERP system migration and testing.

• Help design financial SOPs and control checklists for standardization.

• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and process efficiency.


5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and vendors for audit, compliance, and payment matters.

• Collaborate with business and operations teams to provide financial insights.


Required Qualifications & Experience

• Chartered Accountant (CA) – all levels cleared (first attempt preferred).

• 0–2 years of post-qualification experience (including articleship).

• Hands-on exposure to accounting, audit, taxation, and MIS reporting.

• Familiarity with ERP systems (Zoho Books, Tally Prime, Microsoft Dynamics) preferred.

• Working knowledge of Ind AS / IFRS, and Indian taxation laws.
