Role Purpose:We are looking for proactive engineering managers with 10+ years of engineering experience and proven leadership skills. Engineering managers are expected to work on many projects at the same time, build and manage diverse teams of engineers from different disciplines, formulate and execute strategies, and coordinate with other managers.The responsibilities we entrust youOwn delivery of product and project commitments for the team. • Participate in product roadmap discussions and provide inputs in design, modelling, and architectural decisions. • Own and drive project estimations and operations for implementing high quality solution delivery and technology upgrades in the product.Leads teams in the development of new products, solutions, and processes. • Drive efficiency and productivity to produce high quality output. • Create designs that improve the flexibility, functionality, and usability of the system componentsDefine the NFRs and build a system that meets the NFR requirements. • Perform design and code reviews. • Oversees project logistics and resource allocation.Use tools, techniques to enhance quality of code and design with focus on constant reduction of code debt. • Suggest the best design and implementation methodology.Collaborates with other team leaders and departments. • Build and develop the required competence in the team.Mentor the team members and prepare them for possible future roles.Whar matters in this role:Experience & Portfolio:Bachelor's/master’s degree in engineering • Around 7 to 15 yrs of total exp working on delivery /Development /Team management etc • Minimum 4 to 5 exp in working with EVM, Android related technology. • Minimum 4 to 5 exp in working frontend technologies like EMV knowledge, Android POS development experience• Minimum 1 to 3 exp in working in mobile technologies like Android • Good understanding in commonly used Databases like SQL, NoSQLTechnical skills & efficiency:Personnel and project management skills • Expert-level knowledge of sector technology and processes • Organizational, planning, and documentation skills • Proficiency to explain complex information to non-technical management personnel and other stakeholders • Ability to work on multiple projects in various stages simultaneously • Past use of Agile/Scrum or similar collaborative tools a plus • Ability to create a set of qualifications for a new product • Proficient in stakeholder management and conflict resolutions • Experience in fintech space is an advantageCommunication & Ownership:Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and stakeholdersOrganizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple roles and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentAdaptability: Comfortable with dynamic requirements and able to pivot recruitment strategies as needed.Location: Sector 62, NoidaThings you should be comfortable with:Working from office: 5 days a weekPushing the boundaries: Have a big idea?
