About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and self-driven US IT Recruiter to support our growing recruitment needs . This remote role is ideal for professionals who excel in sourcing, screening, and placing top US-based IT talent, and who are well-versed in the nuances of the US recruitment ecosystem, including work authorizations and tax terms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire US IT recruitment life cycle: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing candidates.
- Work directly with hiring managers and engage with direct clients to understand their hiring needs and deliver quality candidates.
- Build and optimize Boolean search strings to identify the right talent from portals like Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, and LinkedIn.
- Review and analyze technical job descriptions and resumes using ATS tools.
- Conduct initial screenings and evaluate candidates for technical fit, cultural alignment, and availability.
- Coordinate interviews, gather feedback, and drive timely closures.
- Negotiate salary and contract terms with candidates (W2, C2C, 1099).
- Maintain strong candidate relationships through effective follow-ups and communication.
- Stay updated on US visa classifications, employment laws, and geographical hiring trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MCA, BCA, B.Sc IT, or a related technical field.
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in US IT recruitment with direct client interaction (mandatory).
- Strong understanding of US Tax Terms (W2, C2C, 1099) and employment types.
- Familiarity with US geography, time zones, and cultural nuances.
- Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
- A proactive, detail-oriented, and self-motivated professional with strong analytical and negotiation skills.
