About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced React Native Developer to join our frontend engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in building cross-platform mobile applications using React Native with a keen eye for performance, code quality, and user experience. You'll be working on mission-critical applications across platforms like iOS and Android, in collaboration with design, product, and backend teams.

Experience

  • Hands-on experience in building web and hybrid enterprise mobile applications across iOS/Android using React Native.
  • Proven ability to align technical mobile solutions with business vision and product roadmaps.
  • In-depth knowledge of mobile app architecture, performance tuning, security, and deployment best practices.

Must-Have Skills

  • 5+ years of strong experience in React Native mobile app development using TypeScript.
  • Advanced knowledge of Redux-Saga for managing state and asynchronous operations.
  • Solid foundation in JavaScript, TypeScript, and native mobile languages like Swift (iOS) and Kotlin (Android).
  • Experience with integrating third-party tools (e.g., Firebase, Sentry) for push notifications, analytics, and crash reporting.
  • Ability to develop reusable NPM packages for efficient cross-project use.
  • Hands-on experience in building custom native modules for iOS (Swift/Obj-C) or Android (Java/Kotlin).
  • Strong understanding of component-based architecture in React Native, with a focus on maintainability and testability.
  • Proficient in unit testing using Jest, ensuring code quality through test-driven development.
  • Strong Git experience for version control and collaborative development.
  • Familiarity with design systems (e.g., Atomic Design, Fabric) for UI consistency.
  • Ability to interpret Figma designs and translate them into pixel-perfect, functional components.
  • Comfortable working with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and other project management platforms.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Expertise in modern React practices such as Hooks API.
  • Experience in performance profiling and optimizing mobile apps.
  • Familiarity with unit testing frameworks specific to mobile platforms.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, VSTS.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git, SVN, or TFS.
  • Good understanding of backend architectures, REST/SOAP APIs, and BFF (Backend-for-Frontend) patterns using GraphQL.
