QA & Testing Senior Analyst
Position Overview:
In this role, you will provide hands-on testing support for one of our Finance Technology Delivery teams. You will be working on several Technology initiatives forEvernorth.
Responsibilities:
- Define the testing criteria on assigned projects by using relevant business specifications.
- Perform functional, integration, release, and regression testing.
- Report and triage defects.
- Represent the team in all testing meetings concerning assigned projects.
- Design and develop test scripts to run automated tests which assist in regression testing.
- Validate production releases for assigned projects.
- Drive continuous improvement of testing processes.
- Collaborate with testers, developers and systems analysts.
- Document test evidence and update teams QA test documentation when necessary.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
- Curiosity and critical thinking skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, ability to be effective with minimal supervision.
- Strong interpersonal/relationship management skills.
- Strong time and project management skills.
- All qualifying experience must include:
- Test design.
- Defect logging and tracking.
- Working with DB2 databases
- Working in Agile/Scrum and Kanban environments
- SQL
- Database and backend testing.
Required Experience & Education:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a closely related field and 5 years of IT experience.
- A masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a closely related field and 3 years of IT experience is also acceptable.
