SAP IS OIL Functional Consultant

SAP IS-Oil Functional Consultant is responsible for understanding and implementing SAP solutions specifically designed for the oil and gas industry, including modules within the "IS-Oil" module, by analyzing client business needs, designing configurations, and ensuring successful deployment of the system to optimize upstream and downstream operations within the oil and gas sector; essentially acting as a bridge between business requirements and the SAP IS-Oil functionalities to deliver tailored solutions for clients in the oil industry.

Designing and configuring SAP IS-Oil modules including Production Planning (PP), Plant Maintenance (PM), Materials Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Finance (FI) to align with client needs.

Having 5-8 years of experience having in-depth knowledge specific IS-Oil modules like upstream operations management, strong TSW implementation experience with 3WP, F&A pricing.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and support SAP ABAP solutions in the SAP IS OIL module.
  • Work on ABAP on Hana and OOABAP development.
  • Collaborate with functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Design and develop SAP UI5/Fiori applications.
  • Create CDS views, ODATA services, and RAP/CAP models.
  • Develop and enhance applications using SQL, CSS, JSON, and JavaScript.
  • Implement and support BTP ABAP CLOUD solutions.
  • Utilize BADIs for custom enhancement implementation.
  • Provide technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, engaging effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Must be results-oriented, demonstrating a positive attitude and flexibility in managing changing priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating self-motivation and initiative

Required Skills:

5 to 10 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
