About the job :

We are hiring for GoLang BAckend GCP Docker Kubernetes CI CD- an immediate opportunity for a backend developer. This position is for a full-time backend developer familiar with golang experience (preferred), or aspiring to learn the language.

Primary Responsibilities :

- Server-side development, including database management, and debugging

- Maintain and enhance the application

- Collaborate with front-end developers to provide an API that will allow them to perform business logic

- Manage and optimize scalable distributed systems in the cloud

- Understand code versioning, management, and deployment tools like GitHub

- Work on building effective CI/CD automated pipelines for deployment

- Debug errors, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine performance maintenance

- Write high-quality, scalable, and reusable code

- Perform code reviews (peer & lead reviews)

- Commit unit tested, finalized code to the code repository via pull requests

Qualifications :

- 4-5 years of experience in developing backend-systems

- 4-5 years experience in Golang

- 4-5 years experience with relational databases (especially MySQL or Postgres)

- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes

- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

- Experience with reporting software (e.g. Looker, Metabase) is a plus

- Experience with Github and Github actions

- Experience working in an Agile methodology

- Strong verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with the testing, operations & leadership (must have)

- Domain knowledge on Health care & Life Sciences is nice to have
